Payment Methods and Gateways

You can pay for XHack with a credit or debit card or with cryptocurrency. Both work for subscriptions. They behave differently after you pay, so it helps to know the difference before you choose.

Paying by card

We accept credit and debit cards for recurring subscriptions. Once you subscribe, your card is charged automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Card details are handled by our payment processors. XHack never stores your card number on its own servers.

Card payments are the only payments that can be refunded. If you need to stop and want the unused part of your period back, see Refunds by payment method.

Paying with crypto

We also accept cryptocurrency. You choose the coin and the network at checkout, send the payment, and your plan activates once the network confirms it.

Two things matter most with crypto:

1. You renew manually every month. A crypto payment pays for one billing period. We cannot pull money from a wallet, so when the period ends you need to pay again to keep your plan. See Renew a crypto subscription.
2. Crypto payments are final. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, so we do not offer refunds on crypto payments.

Which should I choose?

• Choose card if you want your plan to renew on its own and you want the option of a pro-rata refund.
• Choose crypto if you prefer to pay with crypto, and you are comfortable renewing each month yourself and accepting that payments are final.

Before you pay

At checkout you are asked to accept our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. For crypto payments and AI API credits, this step is required before payment. Please read them first, especially the no-refund rules.

AI API credits

You can top up prepaid AI API credits with a credit or debit card or with crypto. Go to Inference, then Billing, then Add AI funds. Credits are never refundable, whichever way you pay. See Add AI funds and AI API credits.
