Crypto Payment Delays and Deadlines

Why a crypto payment may take time to confirm, and how deadlines work.

Crypto Payment Delays and Deadlines

A crypto payment is not instant. It has to be confirmed on the network before your plan can be activated.

Why confirmation takes time

Each network needs a number of confirmations before a payment is treated as final. How long that takes depends on the network and on how busy it is. Congestion and processor delays are outside our control.

Your plan is activated automatically as soon as the payment has the confirmations we require. You do not need to do anything.

Deadlines

Your payment page shows a deadline for sending the payment. Please send it before that deadline.

  • Send in good time, not at the last minute.
  • If a payment arrives after a deadline, it may not be matched to your order automatically. Contact support with the transaction hash and we will look at it.

While you wait

  1. Copy the transaction hash from your wallet or exchange.
  2. Look it up on a public block explorer for that network. It shows how many confirmations it has.
  3. Wait for the confirmations. Your plan then activates.

When to contact support

Contact us if the transaction has plenty of confirmations on the block explorer but your plan is still not active. Send your account email, the transaction hash, the coin and network, and the amount. See Contact billing support.

A note on renewals

Because confirmations take time, renew a crypto subscription a day or two before the period ends. See Renew a crypto subscription.
