Free Trial and Billing
You can claim a free trial of XHack. This page explains how it connects to verification and billing.
The basics
- The trial is free. Nothing is charged for the trial period itself.
- It is limited to one trial per person.
- What you need to start it depends on our current requirements. See below, and Verification, limited access and trials.
Do I need a card, or do I need to verify?
It depends on whether identity verification is required at the time.
- When verification is required: you verify your identity to get full access (see Verify your identity to get full access). You do not need to link a card to start the trial.
- When verification is optional: you can start right away with limited access, and you need to link a valid credit or debit card to claim the trial.
We actively monitor spam and abuse risk, and we change these requirements as the risk changes. They can change at any time.
If a card is needed: before you start, we tell you whether the trial turns into a paid plan, the price and the date of the first charge. You are not charged during the trial itself. If you do not want to continue, cancel before the trial ends and no charge is made.
If no card is needed: nothing is charged, the trial ends on its own, and it does not turn into a paid plan. There is nothing to cancel.
No refund for the trial itself
Because nothing is charged for the trial period, there is nothing to refund for it.
If a trial later becomes a paid plan, that payment is a normal subscription payment. Card payments follow the pro-rata refund rules, and crypto payments are not refundable.
Trials can change
We may change a trial's length or terms, or stop offering trials, at any time. A trial that has already started runs to the end of its term.
